I was raised to be disciplined and focused. I was raised to know that both my action as well as my in-action had consequences. I was raised to speak the truth at all cost. I was raised to take initiative to solve problems and to get work done. I was raised to sacrifice and to go without, to evaluate wants and needs. I was raised to endure hard times and strife when others raised up against me, and yet to forgive my foes. I was raised to respect my elders and to respect myself. I was raised to honor and glorify my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I was raised to never give up, never quit, and never to sunder my dreams and beliefs for which I stood.
